The Tiger's Bride - Angela Carter

Whilst completing the House of Illustration and Folio's Society's competition to illustrate Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World', I spent quite a lot of time in awe over last years competition winner, Igor Karash's illustrations. I felt drawn to read Angela Carter's 'The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories', I wouldn't even attempt to illustrate the book after the Folio Society's addition but I was inspired to create this portrait of the Tiger from 'The Tiger's Bride' behind his mask and wig.

Brave New World

 My entry for this years House of Illustration competition. We were asked to design the Binding and three internal illustrations for Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World' for a possible commission with the Folio Society.

Black & White

Happy New Year to all my followers! Here's a new series I have been working on to expand my black & white portfolio. I feel 2012 has been a great time in the development of my work and I'm excited to see what 2013 brings!
